What happens to every address
Six checks, one verdict
Each address goes through the whole stack before it gets a result. Nothing is guessed from the domain alone.
Syntactic validation
Malformed addresses, stray characters and the typos that come from hand-typed forms are caught first, before anything expensive runs.
DNS & MX validation
The domain has to exist and actually accept mail. Parked domains and ones with no mail exchanger never reach your send.
Domain health check
Disposable and throwaway providers, role accounts, and domains with a history of trouble are identified and separated out.
Mailbox verification
We go to the receiving server to establish whether the mailbox itself is there — the difference between a valid domain and a real person.
Behavioural history
A self-learning layer built on what our own sending has seen: addresses that have bounced, complained or turned out to be traps stay known.
De-duplication
Duplicates across the file are collapsed, so you are never charged twice for the same address and never mail it twice either.
